Down South Festival is conducted annually, on the second weekend in November.
Our festivals are an eclectic mix & adventure through music, song, dance, poetry & dynamic arts. Emerging & recognised artists from far & wide participate in our performing arts festival. Performances & workshops are held in marquees, providing shade & shelter for artists & patrons.

The Australian Government is proud to be associated with Down South Festival. 
The Djembe Kan project in November 2006 is made possible by Festivals Australia, an Australian Government program which supports cultural activity at regional and community festivals. Through this program, festivals across Australia are able to present quality cultural events, providing greater access for more Australians to a wider range of cultural activity.
